$315,000 recovered by Attorney Chris Causey for a  woman from Lebanon, Maine, who fractured and dislocated her left ankle after falling down a handicap accessible ramp that was almost twice as steep as the law allows. The insurance company for this Defendant offered now money before the lawsuit was filed, claiming the fall was not the fault of its insured.  Attorney Chris Causey filed the law suit and secured an expert engineering witness, who measured and photographed the handicap accessible ramp, determining that it was twice as steep as the building codes allowed.
